STARFISH soccer is for kids born in 2019 and 2020.

SESSIONS: We hold two sessions per week for 7 weeks (May 6-June 20). on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm at Winnebago County Park.

 
WHAT WILL THE SESSIONS LOOK LIKE? We will have the kids arrive at a small-sized field. We'll do some basic activities involving running, dribbling, passing and shooting for about 30 minutes. Then we'll break into teams for a 4v4 scrimmage-like "game."  Teams will be different every week so the kids will get to know one another. Each STARFISH participant will also get a special t-shirt/jersey. (They will not need to wear this for the session; it's just for them to brag about to their friends!)

COSTS:  Our STARFISH Pre-Academy is only $25!!  You do need to register your child, but the fundraising efforts of individuals in our club is making it possible for us to offer this program at a very low cost.

VOLUNTEERS: To make this program possible, we will rely on parent helpers to work with the kids. Volunteers need to do a background check and some basic safety training. We will provide an activity guide that will provide direction for each session,  as well as any equipment necessary to play. If you are love kids, love soccer, or love coaching and are willing to be a STARFISH coach, please indicate that at registration.
