Water Cities Academy is for kids who desire to take a step up from recreational soccer programs.  Our previous fall session had more kids/teams than ever and we're hoping for even more this session! 

Academy soccer is for the following age groups:

• 8U Kids (Boys and Girls) born in 2016 and 2017
• 10U Kids (Boys and Girls) born in 2014 and 2015

PRACTICES: We hold two practices per week.  They will be on TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS from 5:15-6:30  at Winnebago County Park starting August 8th (tentatively).

GAMES: Games will be scheduled each Saturday between August 26 and October 28 (except Labor Day weekend).  All teams in our academy will play at the same location.  We won't receive an official schedule until just before the season begins, but you can expect most games to have a start time between 8:00am and 12:30pm. 

• U8 plays 4 vs 4 games with no Goal Keeper
• U10 plays 6 vs 6 games with an added Goal Keeper (7 vs 7)

Games will follow the US Soccer Small Sided Game Guidelines. You can read more about those guidelines HERE 

Our Academy Fee is a very reasonable $75/session!

The cost for families to participate in our Youth Academy is the best around.  Our small fee is for the entire fall session (there will be a spring session that will cost about the same).  The fee covers WYSA Insurance, referee and game fees, field painting and mowing, jersey cost, etc. Players will need to purchase navy socks (we sell them for $5 for those that need them) and get their own black shorts, soccer cleats and shin guards. 

What is the purpose of our Youth Academy?

• Provide soccer players an avenue to test and enhance their skills.
• Provide soccer players an opportunity to train regularly as well as play in competitive games.
• Provide soccer players an outlet to increase their level of play against challenging competition.
